Admin Consent for Enterprise Users
If your organization uses Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), you may need administrator approval before using Nix It.
Why Admin Consent is Required
Starting December 2025, Microsoft changed default policies for Microsoft Entra ID. Most organizations now require administrator approval before users can grant permissions to third-party applications like Nix It.
This is a security feature that helps organizations control which applications can access their data.
Do I Need Admin Consent?
You need admin consent if:
- You're using a work or school Microsoft account
- You see a message like "Need admin approval" when trying to sign in
- Your organization has enabled user consent restrictions
You don't need admin consent if:
- You're using a personal Microsoft account (@outlook.com, @hotmail.com, etc.)
- Your organization allows users to consent to apps on their own
How to Request Admin Consent
Step 1: Contact Your IT Administrator
Reach out to your IT department or Microsoft 365 administrator and let them know you'd like to use Nix It.
Step 2: Provide the Admin Consent URL
Your administrator will need to visit a special URL to approve Nix It for your organization. Direct them to the Nix It Admin Consent page.
Step 3: Administrator Approves
When your administrator visits the consent URL, they will:
- Sign in with their admin account
- Review the permissions Nix It requests
- Choose to approve for the entire organization
Step 4: You Can Sign In
Once approved, all users in your organization can sign in to Nix It without needing individual approval.
What Permissions Does Nix It Request?
| Permission | Purpose |

| Read and write calendars | View and create calendar events |
